I was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Most of my youth was spent in a wood shop. I would help my grandfather and father with whatever I could get my hands on. When I wasn’t developing carpentry skills, I spent a large amount of time drawing whatever was in front of me.
After years of art classes and graduating from the Art Institute of Houston (GD), I decided to follow a path in welding. Welding was always something I could rely on to pay bills after high school and I knew how to use the tools. I found out about plasma cutting while working for a fabrication company and decided to combine it with those years of art classes.
