Come see new works by Jill Hakala in her solo exhibition debut as an artist in residence at Hardy and Nance Studios.

A constant theme in Ms. Hakala’s work is the combination of science with the abstract. Neuroscience and how the brain functions is a main subject that she explores in her paintings and drawings. Ms. Hakala uses fibers in her work to demonstrate the connections we make with each other, as well as within ourselves.
