Hardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for the “Banned! Art Show” that coincides with our Third Saturday Open Studios on March 19, 2022 from 5-9pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas working in 2D & 3D media.
THEME: Art that is inspired by banned or challenged books.
Please use good judgement on how you portray a banned/challenged book’s content.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Artists can submit images* and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than March 4, 2022 at 11:59pm. This is a curated show, so some pieces may not be chosen.
ARTWORK ENTRY FEE: $10 Cash per accepted piece, due at drop off. There is no fee to submit images for consideration. Artists handle their own sales and are expected to attend the show.
SIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D work no smaller than 8″ any side and no larger than 40″ any side. Standalone 3D/sculptural work must fit through a standard door way.
DROP OFF: If accepted, artwork needs to be delivered on March 13, 2022 (12p-2p) and March 14, 2022 (5:30p-8:00p) WITHOUT EXCEPTION. Delivery accepted through Door G entrance.
