Jay Estrada

Jay Estrada is a 49 year old Graphic Designer/Illustrator living in South Houston. Born and raised in Galveston Texas, Jay is a graduate of The Art Institute of Houston. For the last 40 or so years, he’s been dabbling in everything from painting on canvas to illustrating characters for children & comic books.  Having spent the last 30 years designing and creating graphics for apparel, Jay also spends any free time he gets, creating artwork for fundraising events and art shows. Jay’s style comes from the influences of his time as a young graffiti artist as well as his knowledge in graphic design. It’s a bold, hard edge, bright color style, with feelings of the cathedral stained glass look. In the end, Jay hopes his art draws feelings of love and thought provoking conversations by the viewers.
