Claire Richards is a painter and sculptor, born in Australia and currently working in Houston, Texas. Through her passion of art and music she has largely contributed to Houston’s DIY art scene for decades. Her work contributes to her abstract expression and focus on nature and human behavior through the ambiguous view into her personal process of creating control and giving life into the inanimate.

In 2014, she created a collaborative fabric design project with designer Danny Nguyen, Couture. Claire is a long standing resident artist at Hardy and Nance Studios and a founding member of Paper and Space Collective.
