DESCRIPTION:\nInsomnia Gallery Presents…\nBACKSIDE – Skateboard Art Show\nat Hardy & Nance Studios (902 Hardy St.)\n\nFriday September 22nd // 7pm-11pm\n\nFREE SHOW – NO TICKET REQUIRED\n\nAfter over 5 years\, we are excited to announce our second ever presentation of skateboard artwork: BACKSIDE!\nThe images on skateboards can be both nostalgic for those that skate and iconic and transcendent for those who don’t! We’ve invited local Houston artists to design boards any way they want and expect the results to be amazing! All boards will be for sale during this one night only event!\nThis show has been years in the making as it is one of our personal favorite showcases we ever presented back in 2018. The bold and graphic designs\, huge variations in theme and style\, the staggered presentation of the boards- it was pure eye candy! We’re encouraging participating artists to load up our merch area with stickers so you can deck out your deck at home!\nAs always\, we’ll have complimentary beverages from City Orchard\, Equal Parts\, Bad Astronaut and Eureka Heights and we’ll whip up a batch of a seasonal or themed cocktail!\n\nParticipating Artists List TBA\nThis is going to be an awesome show- art\, music\, movies\, drinks\, and chill vibes.
