DESCRIPTION:\n\nHardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for the “Plantasia: A Botanical Art Show” that will be on display Saturday\, May 20\, 2023\, from 5-9pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas working in 2D & 3D media.\n\nTHEME: Artwork must have a botanical (plants\, flowers\, fungi\, etc.) theme. It may include other subjects/objects\, with the botanical portion playing a significant role.\nYour artwork may be any style and medium. No loose glitter or confetti. If using these mediums\, they must be completely adhered to the surface in a manner that it will not fall off..\n\nSIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D work Minimum size 8″ any side / Maximum size 40″ any side. 3D work must fit through a standard doorway.\n\nSUBMISSION DEADLINE:\nArtists can submit images and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than May 4\, 2023 at 11:59pm. There is no fee to submit images for consideration. This is a curated show so some pieces may not be chosen.\n\nARTWORK ENTRY FEE: If accepted\, the artwork entry fee for this show is $10 cash per accepted piece which is due at drop off.\nThere is NO commission fee involved and therefore artists are required to handle all sales transactions whether in person or electronically. Be sure to have Square\, Paypal\, Venmo\, or other application to take credit card sales. If an artist is unable to handle any sales transactions\, Hardy & Nance Studios is happy to facilitate the sale on your behalf for a 20% stipend to cover processing & handling fees.\n\nAdditional Information & Submission Form: https://form.jotform.com/HardyandNanceStudios/Plantasia2023\n
