DESCRIPTION:Hardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for the “Plantasia: A Botanical Art Show” that will be on display Saturday\, May 18\, 2024\, from 5-9pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas working in 2D & 3D media. \nTHEME: Artwork must have a botanical (plants\, flowers\, fungi\, etc.) theme. It may include other subjects/objects\, with the botanical portion playing a significant role. \nMEDIUM: Your artwork may be any style and medium. No loose glitter or confetti. If using these mediums\, they must be completely adhered to the surface in a manner that it will not fall off. \nSIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D wall hanging work cannot exceed 40 inches on any side. 3D stand alone work must fit through a standard doorway. \nSUBMISSION DEADLINE: Artists can submit images and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than May 2\, 2024 at 11:59pm. This is a curated show\, so some pieces may not be chosen.\n• Notifications of acceptance will be sent via email by EOD on May 6\, 2024. \nARTWORK ENTRY FEE: $15 cash per accepted piece\, due at drop off. There is no fee to submit images for consideration.
