DESCRIPTION: \n  \nHardy & Nance Studios is pleased to announce our Call for Entries for “Kink: A Fetish Art Show” that coincides with our Third Saturday Open Studios on October 21\, 2023 from 6:00-10:30pm. This call for entries is open to all artists in Houston and surrounding areas working in 2D & 3D media. \nDue to the graphic nature of the artwork exhibited\, we are enforcing an adults only (18+) restriction for this event. \nTHEME: Let your inhibitions go and explore some of your favorite “kinks” through art. Your artwork may be any style and medium. (Photography & Digital Art welcome but please no AI). \n* Please no loose glitter or confetti. If using glitter/confetti\, they must be completely adhered and sealed to the substrate so that they will not fall off. We do test this at drop off. Please no bodily fluids. \nSIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D work no smaller than 8” any side and no larger than 36” any side. Standalone 3D/sculptural work must fit through a standard door way. \nSUBMISSION DEADLINE:\nArtists can submit images and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than October 5\, 2023 at 11:59pm. This is a curated show\, so some pieces may not be chosen. \nARTIST ENTRY FEE:\nThe entry fee for this show is $10 cash per accepted piece\, due at drop off. If entry fee is not brought during drop off\, we cannot accept art. There is no fee to submit images for consideration. \nThere is NO commission fee involved and therefore artists are required to handle all sales transactions. Your mobile number will be posted on the wall label for patrons to contact you for purchase. Be sure to have Square\, Paypal\, Venmo\, or other applications to take credit card & electronic payments.
