DESCRIPTION:\nInsomnia Gallery Presents…\nBig In Japan: An Art Tribute to Japanese Pop Culture\nat Hardy & Nance Studios (902 Hardy St.)\nFriday January 12th (7pm-11pm)\nFREE SHOW // ALL AGES WELCOME\n\nFewer countries have had a larger cultural impact on America than Japan. This show pays tribute to it all: Anime\, Manga\, Godzilla\, Hello Kitty\, Kawaii Art\, Sushi\, Mochi\, Ramen\, Geisha\, Samurai\, Tokyo itself and beyond! We have done art shows in the past featuring some of these themes individually\, but back in 2022 we merged them all into one HUGE event and it was so amazing we’re bringing it back to kick off 2024!\n\nJoin us on Friday January 12th as we host an art show featuring ALL local artists creating work that is a tribute to the art and pop culture of Japan!\nCosplay encouraged!\n\nAs always\, we’ll have free drinks on hand courtesy of Eureka Heights\, City Orchard\, Equal Parts and Bad Astronaut and we’ll whip up a batch of themed cocktails!\n\nParticipating Artists List TBA\n\nThis is going to be an awesome show- art\, music\, movies\, drinks\, and chill vibes.
