SUMMARY:Frida - 15th Annual
DESCRIPTION: \n  \nJoin us in celebrating the 15th Annual Frida Festival. We will have a popup show in the gallery\, along with a curated exhibit inspired by Frida’s legacy. Due to Covid-19 we will have a limit of 15 guests every 30 minutes in the gallery. Please sign up for your visiting time slot via Eventbrite. It is free to attend and you can visit as often as you’d like.\nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/o/east-end-studio-gallery-7884827119 \nAll guests must wear masks while visiting us – this is building policy. We will have hand sanitizer available and ask that everyone practice social distancing. Thank you for your understanding and support! \n  \nCall for Artists! \nAll work must be original creations of the artist submitting the application. No reproductions of original work by other artists or Frida Kahlo’s original pieces will be accepted. We are looking for original pieces that incorporate Frida’s legacy and or inspiration. All mediums are welcome\, work must be reviewed and accepted by the curator. The last day to submit will be Sunday\, August 23rd. \nEntry fee to cover hanging\, promotion is $25 for 3 pieces (not exceeding 3X3 ft. each piece)\, $5 for each additional piece. Gallery will handle all sales and will take a 25% commission. Upon acceptance into the show\, EESG will email you a contract and instructions for drop off. You can sell prints of work submitted to the show through our East End consignment for 20% commission. \nArtist outside of Houston and surrounding areas can submit without an entry fee\, but they are responsible for all shipping. Gallery will handle all sales and will take a 25% commission. \nAll work must be READY TO HANG. All paper or flat canvas art must be framed and wired in the back to hang in the gallery’s hook and wire system.
