SUMMARY:The 6th Annual Abstract Art Show
DESCRIPTION:\n\nHardy & Nance Studios is pleased to present our 6th Annual “The Abstract Art Show” on August 19\, 2023 from 5:00-9:00 pm.\n\nTHEME: Abstract art that explores the relationships of shape\, form\, color\, and line to create a composition that breaks away from the traditional representation of physical objects.\nExamples of Abstract Artists: Piet Mondrian\, Wassily Kandinsky\, Mark Rothko\, Frank Ammerlaan\, & Liam Everett – just to name a few.\nYour artwork may be any medium (no AI). No loose glitter or confetti. If using these mediums\, they must be completely adhered to the surface in a manner that it will not fall off.\n\nSIZE RESTRICTIONS: 2D work no smaller than 8″ any side and no larger than 40″ any side. 3D work must fit through a standard doorway.\n\nSUBMISSION DEADLINE:\nArtists can submit images and information for up to four (4) pieces no later than Sunday\, July 30\, 2023 at 11:59pm. This is a curated show\, so some pieces may not be chosen.\nThere is no fee to submit images for consideration.\n\nART SHOW FEE:\nThe entry fee for this show is $10 cash per accepted piece\, due at drop off. If entry fee is not brought during drop off\, we cannot accept art.\nThere is NO commission fee involved and therefore artists are required to handle all sales transactions whether in person or electronically. Be sure to have Square\, Paypal\, Venmo\, or other application to take credit card sales. If an artist is unable to handle any sales transactions\, Hardy & Nance Studios is happy to facilitate the sale on your behalf for a 20% stipend to cover processing & handling fees.\n• Notification of acceptance will be sent via email after submission deadline and no later than August 7\, 2023 by 10:00 pm.
